The seminar provides me with more information on the various youth programme that is available for our students. It is another platform where we can use to give more exposure to our kids. Though it is more of a Youth Programme Seminar, the time we have with the rep gives us the opportunity to better communicate our objectives for the regional visit. Helps to firm up our industry visit hopefully.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good opportunity for our group to touch base with HK Disney! Thanks for your reflection, Zarina. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi guys,
ReplyDeleteThe seminar provided a detailed account of the educational programmes HK Disney offers for youth. Pri - Science & Maths (hands on experiential learning); Pri,Sec & JC - Performing Arts (Band, Dance, Choir etc). Excellent opportunity to network and tap on the possibilities of Twinning & Overseas trips esp for my promising PA groups. Frankly, i'm more impressed with this aspect of their programme than the Science & Maths.
HK Disney provides numerous platforms for CCA groups to display their talent, exchange pointers (with renown instructors all over the world)and networking. Good exposure for the kids! Not sure about the costing though :) Need to work it out with the management.
If you are also into looking into overseas trips and is interested in HK, do contact us for contacts.
Btw, there was a lucky draw at the end of the day - a pair of return tics to HK. Still pretty sore over the fact that i didn't get it :(
(I bet Zarina shares my sentiments)
We manage to "cope" a couple of nice hardcopy HK guides though ... will share share with u all during trip!
Counting down ...
Jermaine
Sounds good, Jermaine! We will depend on four of you as our unofficial 'tourguide' :-)
ReplyDeleteHi all,
ReplyDeletesad to say, still no news from Alec Ho regarding our visit to Disney.(I'll mail him again this week) If you want to know the costs involved to send pupils over to Disney music programme, i can help to find out, cos a teacher from SCGS bringing her group over and I know her.
So far, I heard from those who went to other disneyland before commented that HK disney is very small, just be mentally prepared. (ticket still as expensive though)
